As a club, we have an elected committee that oversees the running and finances of the club and ensures we’re providing equipment, training and environment for our members.

SOCCI are fortunate to have some of the best 6-man outrigger canoes in Australia, partly because we’ve been around for so long, and partly through fundraising and generous sponsorship.
Our committee is voted for every year by the SOCCI members, giving anyone who is keen the opportunity to play a part in the running of our club.
Two important members of the SOCCI family who do not form part of the committee are the men’s and women’s coaches. Our coaches don’t just help us improve and win races, but keep us safe on the water.
