Racing
The annual race calendar for Australia stretches from late September through to May, with around 50 regattas hosted annually.
NSW usually hosts around 8 regattas a year, including the Sydney Harbour Challenge marathon race which attracts teams from all over the world.
Clubs from Australia also participate in international races, the most famous of which is the world championships hosted in Molokai, Hawaii each year. There are, however, Australian teams who regularly travel to New York, The Cook islands and Asia for races.
